Do not work here

Pros

You get experience in recruiting.

Cons

SEP will manipulate you into thinking you will never find another company as good as them and it couldn’t be further from the truth. You are micromanaged throughout your entire day. You receive feedback from one manager and get the complete opposite feedback from another as there is little to no consistency and communication between offices. You are overworked almost triple and instead of raises/bonuses/incentives, you get asked what else you want to work on. They’ve laid off people that have been with the company for multiple years simply because “they get paid too much”. They hire entry level so they can justify keeping you at a low salary. They have deleted negative comments on Glassdoor in the past to protect their reputation and the CEO Ryan King even made “jokes” about them in a company-wide meeting. If you give feedback to the company or managers you work with, they tell you “thats just how we work here”. You work a mandatory 2 hours of overtime each week and it is frowned upon if you leave at 5:30pm. I have NEVER left negative reviews for ANY other job I’ve had. But I want to warn others - do not fall for what they try to sell you in interviews. You will be overworked, underpaid, and not respected as an employee.

Sourcer island is sinking and is a glorified call center job

Pros

Great place to start out of school

Cons

Micromanagement Monitor talk times since they want minimum 2 hours of talk time a day and if you don't you get asked to come get water off the desk and the grill you why you didn't talk enough on the phone. Limited upward mobility and being a Sourcer they don't have a set matrix on how you move up, It's up to when they feel like it and can't offer you a salary increase and can only offer a so called commission increase but that's based on group direct and indirect conversion rates. Getting promoted to L2 Sourcer was a joke and still forced to hustle, while they dangled a carrot In office 4+ days a week as CEO in other review said never going to be a remote company Had to work through last 2 weeks of the year because company claimed we didn't hit numbers and CEO RK couldn't make his deposit on his brand new Yacht. Seemed like every 1st of the month he was hinting that he was buying a new toy Harassed and confronted why I used my sick time and demanded you call in to see if you're well enough to come back in next day, which is illegal. They don't provide reasonable accommodations for people with learning disabilities and when asked for documentation they lie and don't provide proof

Pros

The only pros I can think of, is I am in final interviews and can't wait to quit.

Cons

You are treated like a second class citizen, no credit for your work. They act like what you do is not important at all, only sales is celebrated when we literally provide 90%+ of the candidates for the sales jobs. They also do not value work like balance. Their PTO packages are literal trash, and when you try to use PTO or Sick time you are interrogated. Each office runs independently and has their own rules and regulations, so a lot of rules are in gray areas. Will get screamed at one day for one action and the next day asking why you no longer do said. It is a very heavy drinking environment and pushed to drink. The founder "RK" is a hot head that acts on emotion and will tell you, with out SEP you would be nothing. I highly advise going to a different company at all costs.
