Toxic leadership- not everywhere but definitely from the Sr leadership, c level
Mandatory overtime
Non competitive wages
Poor commission structures
When I joined the company. I was welcomed with open arms which was nice. Worked hard, was treated fairly. After a year and a half . I decided that remote work was more important as well as wage increases. I have a couple kids and I wasn't getting paid well enough to afford daycare which prompted me to ask to remain remote when my kids were living with me, we were remote during most of the pandemic. When I asked to have a discussion for a raise via email. I was told that i would be closer to getting fired because i kindly let them know what i was looking for.. And the company wouldn't facilitate remote work stating
" we will never be a remote company"
We had company meetings about people getting fired and why. Using these human beings as examples to say " see what happens when..."
Upon finding new remote and better paying role . I out in my 2 weeks and was met with unusual toxic passive aggressive behavior from Sr. Leadership. Making passive comment like people who leave this company never make it, or people who have used this company as a stepping stone will never be welcomed back.
After keeping contact with some peers from the company they have relayed the same behavior when putting in their notices. I haven't worked there for over a year
