A Company Who Recognizes Great Work Ethics!
Pros
I've been employed by SRI for several years now. I can honestly say I have seen many positive changes over the past 3 - 5 years. As SRI continues to grow stronger, I'm looking forward to not only being a part of this growth, but actually contributing to it! I sincerely believe the #1 reason SRI has withstood the aftershocks from the 2007-2009 economic recession and unemployment period; is largely due to the wisdom, vision, direction and compassion for their employees and customers, implemented by the President & CEO. The culture of SRI in my opinion, is fundamentally based on the idea of providing top quality service with personal attention to detail! SRI is compassionate towards all employees and their families especially during times of hardships, illness or bereavement. In addition, SRI celebrates their employee’s birthdays, welcoming new babies, graduations and other personal achievements. I’ve seen flowers ordered, greeting cards being sent out, meals delivered to families during their time of bereavement, and other various tokens of employee appreciation and morale. SRI is committed to paying every employee a living wage! They provide employees the opportunity to take a stake in the company's success such as 401(k) and bonuses tied to performance. I’ve read several negative reviews here on Glassdoor, and at best I shake my head, because I have witnessed SRI recognize employee’s for their hard work and dedication. My advice to the negative commentators here on Glassdoor, please remember communication is key to getting your issues or new ideas heard. However, it is how you communicate that gets your issues and ideas addressed accordingly.
Cons
Traffic in this area stinks! No remote work options. Office space somewhat small, and furniture dated.
