Pros

Easy to get hired as a teacher/manager and easy to get in as a student. The only option for some students, so good they have an option; they just need real academic support to do more than just get passed through. Some good leaders embedded in the organization.

Cons

Was there over 3 years. I'm now at a competitor school and realize Strayer was a 'get them in' school with little real upper management focus on education. A lot of showmanship about it but not real focus. Lots of favoritism in leadership circles, especially of late.

Great benefits, 90% off tuition, work from home possible

Cons

Stressful work environment- The Financial Services center is a call center, with rude and horrible students, and management expects us to manage phone calls and chats at the same time, which is impossible.

Can't really think of anything positive.

Cons

Don't expect anything more than a 1% raise, if you are one of the lucky ones. Terrible work/life balance, though some other departments may have it better than my team does. Requesting a day off seems like a criminal act.
