Pros

It's a job. Gets you out of the house. Don't expect to make a living here for long. The management within the Help Desk is alright however the upper management just sucks.

Cons

The upper management doesn't really care about all that you do. The Help Desk helps approximately 10000 students a year with technical issues. The management shows 0 to no support in what we do. They don't provide us with the proper equipment we need to assist students and faculty members with what they need. The pay is very measly. and they expect a 125%.

Pros

I have little positive to say about my Strayer experience. The students are the most positive.

Cons

Lack of consistency in communication of course availability and why and how classes are assigned. Faculty Deans are not in charge of scheduling - it is left up to University scheduling that clearly plays favorites and does not respect length of service, quality of student reviews, and overall performance measures.

Pros

Overall, not a bad place to work. However, if you are an educator you may have to drop your standards to meet university expectations.

Cons

Lowering standards in several areas, suggesting professors bent policy to give better grades to students not doing well. Instead of improving the student experience (student/faculty ratio), better quality instruction, etc. They are only concerned with overall earnings.
