High Stress, Low Pay

Pros

Work can be fun and interesting, depending on department. Consistent M-F hours are good for work life balance.

Cons

Many concerns, but the primary issue is pay. Pay scale for technicians isn't nearly high enough. Promotions in technician role are meaningless, based more on tenure than performance, which does not incentivize hard work. Not enough PTO. High turnover causes heavy workloads and high stress levels.

Pros

-The team in my department is very close, and everyone is super friendly! -30 minutes for lunch.

Cons

-There is little growth opportunities within your department, the only time you will move up is if it is to replace another person. -You have very little PTO, even if you have been with the company multiple years. If you get sick/ can't make it in due to weather/ family emergence, it comes out of PTO. -The pay is below average -There is a lot of time standing around looking for something to do. -Not enough computers for the amount of employees -Managers micro manage a lot, you cannot be a few minutes late clocking into/out of lunch/work without them talking with you. -Not enough bathrooms for manufacturing. -Working on your feet 80%+ of the day.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Information on how we can improve is something that we value tremendously within our organization. We plan to take your information and share with executive management in order to resolve these issues. Transparency across the board with employees and managers is something that we stress as we look to become an employer of choice in Omaha and within the industry that we work in. Our benefit package is also something that is ever changing. The feedback that we receive from our employees and previous employees is how we are able to make them more appealing and engaging for our workforce. Thank you for providing insight on these as well as we look to better meet the needs of our organization.
