Pros

Clients are usually great, Pittsburgh location has wonderful management, fantastic work environment

Cons

Variable pay and stagnant wages, we make a base pay for being there plus and additional flex rate per hours of stretching clients. Overall pay is dependent on how busy your schedule is. It's very difficult to predict your paychecks, which makes budgeting difficult. Raises happen, but not often. No commission bonuses.

Pros

StretchLab is a solid concept with effective methods for improving mobility and recovery. Flexible scheduling compared to traditional full-time roles. Hands-on work helping clients feel and move better can be rewarding. Good experience for those looking to learn assisted stretching or body mechanics. Client relationships can be enjoyable when schedules are consistent.

Cons

Poor ownership and leadership at this location. Disorganization from ownership, including delayed evaluations and lack of follow-through. Low pay with minimal raises that do not reflect workload or performance. Compensation is not sustainable as a primary income under current ownership. Frequent schedule changes made by ownership, sometimes resulting in reduced pay. Employees must closely monitor pay accuracy; discrepancies required repeated follow-ups to correct. Heavy sales focus driven by ownership, with revenue prioritized over employee well-being. Physically and mentally demanding work with little acknowledgment or support from management. Lack of accountability from ownership; issues are routinely blamed on staff or clients. Extremely high turnover among flexologists and front desk staff at this location. Limited support, mentorship, or long-term growth due to leadership structure.
