Pros

Hard working & knowledgable flexologists. Grand Rapids is a great community. Owners are super nice people - very sweet family. New Franchise to Michigan. Beautiful studio's and quality products (expensive for a reason). Well educated and well trained flexologists - great group of professionals. I loved working with them! Great members! Everyday I was blessed to see smiles and get hugs! East Grand Rapids location is in an excellent neighborhood.

Cons

New business to Michigan so the area didn't know what it was. Corporate office is in California. It was also challenging selling expensive memberships with a 3 month commitment. Long shifts. Benefit package wasn't as expected. . California micro managed the GM's work day in a 9 hour schedule for an 8 hour shift (?) I often worked 10 hours.

Pros

Clients in the area are great

Cons

Ownership only cares about numbers and money. They don’t appreciate or value their employees, they will cut your hours without notice and blame it on you without explanation. Some weeks there won’t be any management and when things aren’t going well, they will blame the employees. Owners and management can be disconnected and aren’t aware of day to day processes. No benefits. I could go on, but if you’re looking for a starting gig and don’t care how you’re treated, this is a great place for you. If you’re looking to be valued and appreciated, find somewhere else to work.
