Hard work

Pros

Great team atmosphere with uncapped commissions

Cons

If you have your phone, you’re working. It’s a big ship so it’s slow to turn. Most times executives ask for solutions but don’t want to hear the answers. Sales made even more difficult because of contracts with hospital organizations. If you aren’t on contract it’s nearly impossible to get a sale.

Not compensated fairly.

Pros

People know it's a great company. Days are long but busy so they go by quick. Extremely fast paced. Constantly learning knew things and challenging myself on a daily basis. Over time, hospital staff and surgeons depend on you to help surgeries go smoother / have a real impact on things in the OR.

Cons

Extremely long, borderline unethical hours; I get paid a decent base salary but am never compensated for all the hours I work above 40. I average 65-70 hours a week with at least 5 of those coming on the weekend. No consistency in your schedule makes it hard to plan for anything / enjoy parts of your life outside of work.
