Not compensated fairly.

Pros

People know it's a great company. Days are long but busy so they go by quick. Extremely fast paced. Constantly learning knew things and challenging myself on a daily basis. Over time, hospital staff and surgeons depend on you to help surgeries go smoother / have a real impact on things in the OR.

Cons

Extremely long, borderline unethical hours; I get paid a decent base salary but am never compensated for all the hours I work above 40. I average 65-70 hours a week with at least 5 of those coming on the weekend. No consistency in your schedule makes it hard to plan for anything / enjoy parts of your life outside of work.

Pros

-Growth company that is rapidly evolving with new tech advancements -Strong culture that can make a huge company feel small and personalized; you get out what you put in! -Ability to discover and create your own job description for experienced professionals; flexible titles and compensation -Volunteer PTO is given; some salaried roles are unlimited PTO -Real passion for helping people/patients the drives R&D

Cons

-Matrix organization is complex and knowing who to contact can be tricky -Compensation is mediocre vs competitors but the positive workplace is a HUGE perk vs toxic workplaces that pay more in the area
