      Pros

      Mostly independant, lots of customer service and get to work with your hands and mind. Company vehicle for work only and great benefits.

      Cons

      The culture of the company is changing, as are many, from a "take care of the customer and be the very best in the industry's eyes" to a company for the investors. The old way of doing things and the management that supported it are going away. Its the way things go though, and the younger generation will thrive here. I rated the culture a 3, for me but it would be a 5 for others.

      Pros

      Stryker is a very successful company who will acquire various technologies (companies) to broaden their company scope. Their 401K is very good as is their bonus. Their benefits are in line with most companies of their stature.

      Cons

      Stryker is a ruthless heartless company. They are famous for restructuring their organization and as a result misplacing users in positions that do not meet their skills. Ultimately the end result in many cases is an employee forced to leave Stryker. Beware! They are ruthless!. Very discouraging. In 25 years of employment mostly in one company, I have never been treated so unfair! Shame on your Stryker! Their HR department is useless, they are zero support for employees.
