      Great product, doing good for society, fast paced and fun

      Very poltical, failure to see the forest for the trees mentality, no training ever = learn on your own or else...

      Pros

      New facility with gym and cafeteria. Yearly bonus and raises usually given (depending on company and "individual" performance) though not necessarily enough to be significant motivator. Has 401K matching, usual benefits - nothing outstanding but average for industry.

      Cons

      Many department managers incompetent. Cut-throat environment with a lot of backstabbing. Poor cooperation within teams and between departments. Lack of investment in training staff. Little opportunity for advancement.

      Pros

      This is a good place for those who are just starting out in their careers. The company is very good at encouraging career growth/personal development and allows for quick career advancement and opportunities to work in different functional groups. Job security is also very good which is especially important in these difficult times.

      Cons

      The company is often only focused on the short term which means a long term strategy and forward thinking gets lost in the quest for meeting every quarter's financial goals.
