      If you're a "Good Ol' Boy," Work is Great

      Pros

      - Engineers are generally motivated and friendly - Work was rewarding - Work life balance is great and being average is a low bar - Benefits are above average

      Cons

      - Management is regressing into toxic patterns - Culture is very "Good Ol' Boys" - Leaving the company will not be handled professionally (DO NOT GIVE ANY NOTICE) - DE&I efforts are lip service; sexism and racism are rampant - Compensation is a about 20% below market value

      Autonomy, the volume of work stimulating, location great

      Cons

      Boys club, monoethnic no matter how many people of color they show on Linkedin that's just PR. Look at the stats, if you are a diverse candidate skip Stryker. Don't fall for the one or two African Americans they have at the top, they have over 30K employees and two or three truly senior AAs in important positions.

      Good Field Service Tech team. (Co-workers - Not the Managers!)

      When you first start you feel like you made the best decision for your career, but then you'll quickly realize that you've made the greatest mistake in your professional life. A company that has no culture but doing anything to make their customer happy. Their managers that are hiding behind their laptops can throw you under the bus just to cover their failure. So just be careful before you make a decision to leave you current job and decide to work for this company!!
