Great benefits, Poor Leaders

Pros

The benefits are great, the corporate office is nice and the employees are mostly friendly. Wayne and Stuart Weitzman are great leaders.

Cons

The higher up Marketing leaders are not fit to run the department. Long meetings where no substantial ideas based on analytics or data are formulated. Very critical only in the matters of taste and looks which should not be the only decision making component for Marketing. The higher ups stick together and form a tight childish clique that mostly gossip and generate ideas without including other core members of the team. Low opportunity to grow. Received a big lack of communication on large projects and development, making it very hard to collaborate or include ideas. Overloaded with work from many directions and no real organizational system in place to track projects or progress. Creativity and branding is lacking and poorly led. Saw many really talented people leave because of this poor company culture.

Pros

Free shoes , benefits and that’s it

Cons

They changed the pay structure and associates make less money. They always screw up on paychecks. Lack of communication with management. New corporate team that took over don’t care about the associates and been firing managers at random. No career growth within the company.

Pros

You get free shoes every season, and a decent discount. Good health benefits, paid time off, sick time / pto. A few good long term employees that you can look to for advice.

Cons

Since coach took over they changed the entire company dynamic. Unfortunately it is not the same as it was before. Your pay check is never right, and they changed the pay structure to half of what you were making before. They do not value a hard working employee and many people have left the company for that reason.
