Pros

Good flexibility with options for more or less work to fit your schedule.

Cons

Some of the expectations and outlines are unclear. Communication is lacking because of the size of the projects.

Pros

Great work-life balance with a culture built on trust rather than micromanagement. As a small IT Operations team, we rely on and support one another, creating a collaborative environment where knowledge is openly shared. From the very beginning of working at this company and for this team, I've had the opportunity to learn and contribute beyond my core responsibilities, which has significantly broadened my skills. Whenever there's an area I'm interested in exploring or a new skill I want to develop, I'm encouraged and given the opportunity to pursue it. I appreciate that we can speak openly and honestly with one another, and that our opinions are valued. It's clear that feedback is not only welcomed by our director but is also considered by executive leadership when making decisions. Other positives, free gym memberships, Caltrain pass, catered lunch on Wednesdays, stocked kitchen with a lot of variety of snacks and drinks.

Cons

It would be great to have more flexibility in choosing which days we work from the office and which days we work from home. Since we operate in a hybrid environment, having the ability to select the schedule that best fits our work and personal needs could improve both productivity and work-life balance.

Pros

The only good thing about working for Study.com is being able to work from home.

Cons

My two main problems with this company are the awful compensation and the disorganized leadership. The pay here is awful. Even though the workload isn't too heavy, the poor compensation means you get minimal pay compared to working for other companies. Also, the leadership is disorganized and inefficient as shown by their terrible delegation and inefficient scheduling.

Pros

Flexible time and schedule, work at your own pace, but deadlines were ridiculous!

Cons

Management's policies were made to benefit only them. It prevents employees to get a raise because these policies were terribly unreasonable! Deadlines were stressful and unreasonable as well making frustrations and anxiety high! This is a terrible place for growth, don't expect good leadership here!

Pros

There's freedome over your own schedule. you just have to have great time management skills

Cons

The system and processes are ridiculously tedious and stressful they make no sense! Though work schedule was flexible, it still was exhausting because the amount of work and deadlines were insane!

Abysmal Pay

Pros

flexible schedule and workload, choice of projects

Cons

The pay is per piece and on my current project it works out to about $5/hour. Although in theory, you can work as much or as little as you want to, the current project I'm assigned to rarely has any work to sign up for. They are still advertising that they are hiring for this project even though those already employed by it have no work to select.
