      Pros

      Developed great relationships with other completely dissatisfied associates. Learned quite a bit about my field. Only "safe" places are some of the better-run branches.

      Cons

      Absolutely the worst management and leadership I've ever experienced. The company is run by a CEO that has no other professional experience, no degree, and not one ounce of integrity. This horrible leadership gushes like a waterfall down the entire executive team and into each department. Women especially are treated like secretaries and are not looked at for management positions.

      Pros

      - Company started out in the 1970s has grown tremendously via acquisitions. - Policy of promoting from internal workforce. - Owner is quite focused on growing the business. - Great place to work if you have just a high school degree and no college education.

      Cons

      - Career growth is limited given the overall flatness of the organization if you are a college hire. - Worst salaried benefits of any company I have ever worked for. - Limited exposure to new technologies/ innovative methods of doing business as the company is quite focused on following procedures known as the "Summit Way". - Don't recommend this company to new college hires as you may develop a mindset that would not work at other organizations.
