Pros

They are young in the NY market

Cons

They are lead by a bunch of people who do not understand the area or how to run a smooth operation. They do not care about their people

Pros

Some offices/supervisors let you go home early on Fridays

Cons

There are no 15 minute breaks at all only an unpaid lunch This company does not contribute to 401K Management shows favoritism possibly even discrimination Management lacks empathy and only care about work they have no compassion for any life events whether you were in the ER, a death on family, unsafe to work due to weather conditions they do not care you will get written up for calling out or coming to work late even if you were in the hospital/was injured/ have a chronic illness Management has a rude and nasty disposition Management will yell at you, other coworkers, even doctors in front of patients and other workers there is no sense of professionalism Management will create drama between you and other coworkers by pulling you into an office and asking you to “snitch” or tell what other coworkers are doing while the supervisor isn’t around Micro managing is HIGH. Supervisor will peek around walls and stand over you to observe behavior and watch you work. Overall I do not recommend.

Pros

Working at Summit as a PSR there are lots of benefits like learning the terminology in the department that you’re in. Getting firsthand experience with doctors and behavioral health providers. If you’re looking to join the field of psychology, nursing or any type of healthcare, this is definitely the job for you or if you’re just looking for a job For minimal paperwork this is good

Cons

It’s not too bad but it does get extremely busy Mondays Tuesdays are pretty much the worst days the phones ring nonstop and it’s really the patients that make the job a little bad just cause they have zero patients and it can make the day drag.
