Pros

Staff seemed supportive.. not much pros here.

Cons

Extremely low pay for everything that you are tasked to do. I was wearing five different hats. They are CHRONICALLY understaffed with nurses, MA's and providers. You have to cover for nurses and even MA's. You have no time to do admin work. I asked for an increase and was denied.

Pros

There literally are none. You work non-stop, always short-staffed, expected to answer phones and take care of never ending line of patients. You handle 4-10 doctors schedules on any given day, each who have a patient appointment every 15 minutes from 8am until 4pm. Take a guess how many patients you check in a day? Only 2 women, with the bilingual manager stepping in to help check-in patients now at the front desk, its horrible.

Cons

If you speak Spanish, do not ask for less than $18 dollars. They are D.E.S.P.E.R.A.T.E for bilingual patient reps, but pay then English speakers ($18) more than the bilingual girls ($15-$16). Makes absolutely zero sense. Manager will make a patient pending after you checked them in, only to tell you you didn't do your job and the patient is angry after not being called for an hour. (I took photographic evidence of the computer's check-in logs because I could not believe she would be so unproductive and do this). The workers at this job gossip and talk about each other all the time, until that person actually walks into the area, then they're suddenly best friends. Patients will give you an attitude too, just get out of this job as soon as you can.
