      Working for Suntrust has been a good steady job, but the pay stinks for how hard we work.

      Pros

      I like helping customers with their transactions. The retirement plan is good because they match 5%. The hours are decent.

      Cons

      Lately corporate has made employees become telemarketers and sales people. They are more interested in #'s instead of the client. Salaries are not competitive. We are always short staffed and they keep putting more and more duties on us, which is very stressful! Too much pressure for what we get paid! People are quitting right and left. You can start out at a higher salary at Hobby Lobby than I make for over 20 Years Service at SUNTRUST.

      WOrk Hard and you will be promoted up the corporate ladder

      Cons

      Once you get up the corporate ladder it is a whole other story; first line managers are not valued. Senior management is not always fair and not forth right with information.
