Pros

Strong talent at headquarters and out in the geographies, admirable corporate principles and community-focused mission/purpose, balanced size (big enough to have investment resources and economies of scale, but also small enough to avoid anonymity and attempt to be nimble), familial and relationship-based culture

Cons

Highly political, which is a by-product of the relational culture that creates in-crowds and out-crowds and that favors groupishness (competition about who "gets it" the most) over who is the most competent, creative, or effective. Inefficiency that results from endless coffee chats and meetings-before-the-meeting in order to generate consensus and ensure others are aligned before ideas can be raised in public. Culture creates conditions where people compete as individuals to burnish their personal brand and be seen as "joiners" rather than compete as a team to collectively innovate and win in the marketplace. Lacks a true competitive advantage.

Good Benefits but Chaotic

Pros

Great Benefits, good work-life balance and the teammates are wonderful people to work with. There is an emphasis on inclusion, diversity, health & wellness, and personal financial education.

Cons

The left hand NEVER seems to know what the right hand is doing. There seems to be very poor planning for the introduction of new (or changes to existing) functionality leading to confusion and a lot of fire-drills.
