      Not what I thought and looking for something else

      Pros

      Good wages, great benefits, weekly pay.

      Cons

      Finger pointing, blame game, questioning your work. Everyone acts like a hot shot. Morning meetings are very awkward, nobody talks. But then run their mouths the rest of the time. Boss is multiple states away, out of sight, out of mind. Left to fend for yourself.

      Some project managers and higher ups are good to work under.

      Typical problems like other big GC's: long hours, no overtime pay, little PTO, work/life balance sucks, benefits are just ok

      Stop favoring admin over craft

      Hourly wage and benefits are fairly competitive

      Cons

      Strongest admin/management vs hourly/craft environment I've ever worked for especially for it being a non union company. Very little chance of being promoted to leadership roles, typically capped off at general foreman if you make it that long. Craftsmen are expendable attitude. Company would rather bring in inexperienced college interns year after year than promote a knowledgeable craftsman. Extremely high turnover rate, not many make it past 4-5 years unless you're management. Typically 10-15 layers of admin/management between a craftsman to CEO. Employee stock option is meaningless unless you're management as 98% won't last long enough to even become vested.
