Pros

- Promising field with interesting technology and technical challenges. - New projects and investments on other companies. - Several funding that guarantees company future for coming years. - If management, behavioral and ownership issues resolved, it could lead to a good environment to work.

Cons

- Lack of efficient processes and procedures without extensive bureaucracy. - Insufficient management, with no soft skills and no problem solving oriented. - Promising development and salaries that never provided. - Behavioral issue and politics from several employees that no one is willing to handle it. Unethical comments and discussions for other coworkers. - Noone knows its role; they work based on their interests and not based on their responsibilities. - Everyone knows the issues, but they are not willing to break the eggs. - If you want to survive you need to start working inefficient as the rest do. - Fear of ownership - More than 3-4 reorganization the last 2 years. - Not common policy to all employees of the same department. o No remote working for majority o Almost full remote working for the “experts” coming from abroad with salaries based on their main living country. - CEO isn’t interested for people motivation, promote “fear” and aggressive management. - Many resignations and disappointed employees. Few people stayed more than 1-2 years. A lot start looking for new roles even one their first month onboard.

Pros

Nice and innovative products but... there is a big 'but'

Cons

The company has some significant issues in how it treats its employees, making it far from an ideal workplace even in Greece's broken job market. The salary offered is well below average, so I strongly recommend thoroughly researching the job market to know your true worth before considering a position here. Be prepared to negotiate for the compensation you rightfully deserve as the company's standards in this regard are disappointingly LOW. Flexibility is sorely lacking. The company shows skepticism about remote work or providing any semblance of autonomy. In a time when many companies are embracing modern work practices Sunlight remains stuck in outdated ways. Micro-management is all over the place. Despite a few exceptions, the prevailing culture leans heavily toward micromanaging employees. This stifles creativity, professional growth and overall job satisfaction. It's time for companies like Sunlight to realize that Greece has moved beyond 2015. Job seekers have more options now and prioritize workplaces that foster adaptability and offer fair compensation!
