Pros

you get to learn a lot from the senior population you can usually get the time off you want the days go by very fast

Cons

it is really hard on your body- you are lifting and transferring residents up to 300 pounds it can be stressful, generally a 1-15 nurse patient ratio very underpaid for the amount of work you do

Pros

You are able to work with the elderly and try to give them a good quality of life.

Cons

Overworked, underpaid, staff doesn't show up, and those that do are forced to work without enough help. Because it is not classified as a nursing home, they don't have to follow the government regulation.
