Pros

A high growth potential company due to AI expansion phase. Lots of hiring and opportunities for talents globally. Non-stop hiring among various departments. Fun and challenging work environment with global collaboration between San Jose/Taiwan/Malaysia/Netherlands offices. Supermicro is a well known brand in the server industry. I enjoy coming to work everyday and work with a great team and co-workers everyday. Overall, everyone is pleasant to work with.

Cons

Completely onsite work arrangement unless you are Sales or FAE working outside of California. Approval process and hiring process tends to be slower. Creating new initiatives may take more time because need to be approved by upper management.

Pros

offering a good salary and the opportunity to work with innovative tech.

Cons

The culture here is deeply political, where kissing up to management matters. The administrative leadership is non-inclusive, toxic and thrives on gossip and bullying. You get zero onboarding and endless workloads in an environment completely driven by fear and control. There is no respect or flexibility for employees. Save your sanity and avoid this place.

Cons

There are opportunities for improvement in several areas of the employee experience, including vacation policies, benefits, career clarity and development, workplace flexibility, and employee engagement. The limited flexibility around remote work can be challenging for employees seeking better work-life integration. There is also inconsistent treatment across different levels of the organization, which can impact trust and morale. Additionally, driving organizational change can be difficult, as decision-making processes often appear resistant to new ideas and approaches. Investing in leadership and people-management development for managers could help strengthen communication, employee support, and overall team effectiveness. Fostering a more inclusive, employee-centric culture would contribute positively to engagement, retention, and organizational growth.
