Pros

Pros: -Compensation - Health insurance - Dental insurance - No Stress - Company cell phone

Cons

Read the reviews on glass door. No one honestly does anything here. There is no company strategy other than being the cheapest server in the market.

Pros

Free breakfast, and free supper if you stay beyond 7:30pm. The CEO is very smart and has the intuition toward computer technology and the chief architect for all products. He . makes all decisions big or small. Without him, the company will come to a halt in no time. No need to worry about job security.

Cons

No management at all. The company grew from small to this big and the management team are the old people who do not know how to manage. They all just follow the eyes of the CEO and want to know what is in his mind and where he attention is. Company treat a few old employees as treasure despite incapability, give power to manage and good compensation..

Toxic Work Culture

Pros

Working at Supermicro will teach you several valuable lessons in how to navigate a toxic workplace environment, but it will not be fun. A few people here are kind and approachable, but the majority are not.

Cons

The work culture here is toxic, characterized by fetishization of overwork. There's an alarming glorification of long hours, and people try to stay in the office long and get noticed. If you take a vacation, people will comment on it unfavorably. A blatant discriminatory culture favors certain employees based on language you speak and where you are from, creating a deeply unfair workplace. The less said about the HR department the better as they are completely useless and don't care about the employees. Some people in senior and director roles are so incompetent, it is surprising. If they ever join another company in the same industry like Dell, HPE or Lenovo, they would be laughed off from a mile away. Some employees engage in outright abusive behavior, and the leadership's response is appalling. Especially those that have stayed at the company for long and have good support from management tend to treat everyone else horribly while keeping their leadership and management oblivious to their true character. There's a monopolization of information among teams, which hampers effective collaboration. This lack of transparency breeds an environment of distrust and inefficiency. Multiple teams often duplicate efforts and waste resources. The management including CEO like multiple teams working on the same thing. Maybe they think this is a strategy to ensure success with redundancy but this often leads to infighting and a whole lot of stupidity.
