      Good place to work if you can speak Chinese

      Pros

      In general people I work with are pretty nice. Company provides free dinner if you work past 8 pm.

      Cons

      Salary is below average and bonus is.... what bonus?? Company doesn't provide any formal training. It is almost impossible to transfer to a different department or team. English often is not the primary language at Supermicro. Your manager talks to other team members in Chinese language in front of you.

      Pros

      from employee standpoint; 100% paid health benefits for individual, so-so for family, company has an endless product line, very innovative & fast paced.

      Cons

      Very high turnover & doesn't pay very well indicating no real value to their experienced employees, a lot of redundancy in most depts making it difficult to navigate operations/processes/expectations, management can be a bit immoral at times, not very good work/life balance if you work here.

      - Job stability. - Growing company.

      Cons

      - You have to fight to get a free breakfast roll in the morning (one of the few perks) because the company does not get nearly enough for everyone. - Some of the facilities are run down. - Firing is rare, so that leads to some people feeling too secure in their job and not doing their job and/or not treating other employees well. - Strict work schedule even for salaried employees.
