Pros

It is a growing company, with great people and a great company culture. The industry might not be very exciting, but the people here make working at the company fun and exciting. You will get a lot of chances to get the satisfaction of making an impact. There are no formal structures and everyone is friendly and helpful

Cons

The only downside would be inflexible work hours, but everything else about the culture is so open and flexible that this does not matter as much.

Pros

Your co-workers become like family, great company events to bond employees with the team. Good perks like free food.

Cons

Salaries are extremely low compared to the cost of living in long island. Absolutely zero flexibility for employees with special needs (moving, doctors appointments, parents), awful PTO and sick days are combined with pto days, which is not legal in NYC, but because they are right outside of NYC they get away with it. Company has an extremely close-minded cult-like feeling, where one day you're on good terms and the next you may feel like you could be fired.

Cons

managers and owners pick favorites. All actions do not have the same consequences. HR is very unprofessional and doesn't keep confidential information to themselves.
