      Pros

      The pro is the day you leave.

      Cons

      Insane work that is expected to be done in half the time it should take. I was asked to perform work for free. Micromanager heaven! Expect someone to grade you on everything from how to claissfy a transaction to how you name a journal entry everything will be wrong for you and you'll be again asked to do it for free. It's a broken model!

      Working for Franchise not SPS. Franchise owners/manager inability to properly train and support staff. Be careful which franchise owner you work for. Corporate does not care about staff retention. High overturn rate.

      Pros

      Supporting Strategies is one of the best companies for which I have worked. I appreciate my managers, teammates and available resources provided to all team members that ensure success. I am especially grateful for the work-life balance this position provides and the structure that allows complete flexibility. In the year and a half I have worked with Supporting Strategies, I have added 5 new industries to my bookkeeping experience and background.

      Cons

      A position with Supporting Strategies is not transactional or to be considered an easy paycheck. I appreciate this, but others may not. It can be challenging and requires problem solving as our clients change, expand their businesses or require additional projects. No two days are the same.
