Pros

Remote work is nice. Good training materials.

Cons

Unrealistic budget hours for clients so you end up working way more hours than you will get paid for. Dallas office stiffs you on your last paycheck.

Some Good, Some Not so Much

Pros

The boss at my "location" was great - checked in a lot, had a nice little gift sent for my birthday, waited patiently while I recovered from a hospital stay.

Cons

My manager expected me to jump right in without understanding their coding processes or ways of working. The company in general provided TONS and TONS of training videos and reading materials, but unfortunately (as in most places), the way things were actually done v the way the materials said they were done did not match. Whenever I had a question, I was referred to the training materials, which was not helpful. Like trying to read through tax code to find the answer to a simple question for a tax return. I'm sure they have good managers - I just didn't get one.

Not enough meaningful work

Pros

Flexible, work from home, training, technology

Cons

Most tasks performed for small businesses are budgeted at an hour or less, and some of them are monthly. Makes it impossible to hit 20 hours a week consistently. Have to keep track of your time in 5 minute increments. Hard to stay focused with so much down time everyday.
