Pros

Paid holidays. Some coworkers are ok to talk to.

Cons

Management is terrible, and favoritism is rampant; many managers are in a relationship with someone at work, which means their partner's word is law. Most people there are sleeping with someone, and if you are not buddies with a manager or team lead, you are treated horribly—lots of random forced overtime rather than consistent optional overtime. There are plenty of lazy workers who will take credit for someone else's hard work (when they have assistance at a machine and do nothing). They run on a point system, so if you are a second late, hello points! The second shift is the worst, and I have worked both. Management is lazy and favors certain employees over others. They had production assistants when I was there, and I have no idea if they still have them, but 90% of the time, they are doing someone's work for them while they stand back and watch. There are team leads who are nasty or just straight up manipulative. False accusations are not uncommon here and usually lead to someone going to HR, and even with no proof, they will still write you up or act like you are the problem. There was a woman who went to HR on a lot of people on the second shift, and there is a guy on the first shift who does the same. Most of the people here are older, and the younger employees are normally nice and treat you like a human, but the older ones do not. I am glad I left as soon as I finished my degree because this place sucks. If you know someone who works there, great; if not, I would not even bother applying because the pay is terrible, the job is boring, and you are just a number, as with all corporate jobs anymore.
