Pros

Great benefits, great PTO, but other than that, I'm not sure what other benefits there are. Career advancement is great, if you're a yes man.

Cons

Politics at its finest. Employee hires from Paychex are given the fast track to promotion. Long processes and incompetent people get in the way regularly. The company is in turmoil handling new GM leadership and they're not doing well. So many long term employees have left or are on their way out. But management doesn't care. They've lost all their historical knowledge. The product was built in 2000 and is failing. It's a sinking ship and everyone wants off.

Pros

SurePayroll has a great product, backed by a really hard-working team. I was part of the sales team for several years.

Cons

Our pricing consistently undercut the more profitable offering from our parent company, Paychex, and as a result I don't think we received the support we needed to grow. I never got the sense Paychex wanted SurePayroll's business to grow and thrive, and that was heartbreaking.

Unlimited PTO and free Grubhub meals every once in a while

Cons

Micromanaging at its finest. If you have a question and ask the manager, they'll just tell you to look it up so you go to look it up yourself but while you are researching you'll be asked "why aren't you making any calls". They promise certain things in the interview process that they don't actually do. Oh, and it's a lot of cold calling. There's more but I'll stop here
