Surf Style reviews

These people do not care about their employees. The wages are lllloooooowwww. The work environment is awful. No AC during the summer in Florida. The building leaks during storms. There’s mold and bugs in the store. They don’t care about the employee’s comfort even though workers would be more productive if they weren’t dying of heatstroke everyday. Also, what customer is going to want to browse and take their time shopping in a sauna?

-Hours -the surfstyle jingle The surfstyle jingle plays on the intercom litterally every 30 minutes, i wish i was joking. A catchy jingle designed to engrave the brand into ur memory for whenever u travel down to florida. It works. And they play it constantly. As an employee youll be hearing it every day twice an hour. At the time there were really 2 main managers and a bunch of assistant managers as a key holder u are supposed to be part of the management team but when the rest of staff are either teenagers that just wanna work their for the summer or temp workers. It kinda just feels like ur a normal employee. Assistant managers have it the hardest imo they get shafted with a majority responsibility if they are reasonable, and work long hours but supposedly pay isnt too bad but imo not enough to justify the density of work. Customers can be unruly, as most are tourist but most are easy enough to deal with.
