Pros

My manager and coworkers are friendly and the office is small.

Cons

A lot of work for a little pay. Not enough Sick/Leave time.

Pros

Work/life balance is ok. However, people don't come into the office because of the environment, so work should be a little more existent.

Cons

Leadership at the local Chicago affiliate is atrocious. The board doesn't get their responsibility and the CEO is dreadful. SGK has not overcome the Planned Parenthood debacle and this organization more than likely won't be around for the long haul (and shouldn't be). The National office provides no support and the communication between local and national offices is nonexistent. There are so many great breast cancer organizations truly making an impact in breast cancer - support them - American Cancer Society, Bright Pink, Lynn Sage. And don't expect good benefits. You'll need to figure out another avenue for health, retirement, and basic insurance.
