I started full time at the end of 2021 in Colombia and I was lucky that they raised my salary about 6 months later to $600 dollars plus a bonus of 160 dollars. It is October 2023. Practically 2 years have passed, the cost of living in Colombia is skyrocketing, the CPI says 13%, which is a crazy statistic because the figures also say that in these last two years beef and Chicken in that period has risen 53%, and they say my salary will only rise to US$630 and the bonus to US$240! I am one of the best on my team, but my children eat less than before because the salary is too low for the reality of the country!

Not much opportunity for career growth.
