Pros

Easy place to get into and is pretty much what you expect out of a call center. Its a job.

Cons

Awful management and high turnover rate with very strict policies so you are constantly worried of if you will keep your job or not. The people there tend to not to be the best of people either so it just adds to the negative aspect of everything about the place. Overall way more bad things to say than good things about this place.

Pros

Work is at times challenging but not totally stressful. Good coworkers, easy to get a job there. I was glad to get 5 years out of the company

Cons

While it is their right to do so, Sutherland did not invest enough in the Syracuse location over the years. The Syracuse location had over 600 employees in 2013 and now it is just about closed. While I applaud the efforts to strengthen the Las Vegas and Houston locations in the U.S., I feel more could have been done to save all the jobs lost in Syracuse, especially for those who had been with the company 10-20 years. Other cons: no room for advancement unless you're willing to uproot your family across the country or world. no 401k matching. Many times, it just felt like another job, no real difference making

Pros

You can actively scream profanities while placing the customer on hold since you're working from home. Beforehand, I would have to quietly flip them the bird under my desk to not arouse suspicion with the hall monitors in the office.

Cons

Make sure you have Sutherland Global's attendance line on speed dial whilst you're on your deathbed. You want to make sure you call in everyday before your shift otherwise you will probably become a phone agent in the afterlife.
