Pros

Full-time position - guaranteed full-time with optional overtime (although sometimes this is forced overtime)

Cons

Low pay - I was hired to do technical support. I held a bachelors degree in computer science. They were unwilling to negotiate the pay and payed me the same as people who had recently graduated high school as well as people that barely could use a computer. Poor organization - I requested time off ahead of time for my wedding. The person who handled time off requests approved it verbally. When I returned to work I found out that I had been fired for no call/no show

Pros

Work from home position. So you do get to work from home which is an advantage. No commute. I really can not think of anything else positive to say other than the people were very nice. Even though they were generally clueless and unable to resolve most issues without constant prompting.

Cons

Very poorly organized training. Lots of technical issues. Its sad there on site employees get US tech support but the Work at home program gets tech support from India. Very poor communication, the techs have no clue about the needs of work at home workers. Very slow to get the necessary tools to employee to train. In some cases taking the first two weeks of trainig before you get any access to the system to even begin training. Training was designed for in classroom and not remote self paced learning. NO support in the way of the training for new employees. This is a start up program with work at home that is maybe six months old. So far it appears its horrible and they are just paying people to train. Wages are very low at $8.50 an hour for a 20-29 hr per week job. They expect you to train 40 hrs a week because it takes them the first two weeks of a four week training cycle to even get you your tools to begin training.

Pros

remote work is the only pro

Cons

Extremely underpaid. HCE start at $13.50 NON-NEGOTIABLE. I have a masters degree and am working for $13..... The metric currently in place is processing 30 claims PER HOUR. I would LOVE to see anyone in upper management do this because its simply incredibly high for no reason. If there's too many claims then simply HIRE more people. Oh and let's not forget their bonus structure that they keep raving about. $0.65 per claim over the daily total. Yes! pushing nearly 300 claims a day for an added bonus of $30 whoop whoop. Training is INCREDIBLY long. Expect to be training for the next 3 months. Spent the first 3 weeks doing absolutely nothing when ramp (period after nesting/before production) could've taken place during the 3rd week.
