      There might be some repetitive tasks Healthcare is a regulated industry that requires some discretion when dealing with documents Constant training on how to deal with PHI

      The only pro I can think of is the benefits.

      Cons

      Management and leadership fail to manage their departments. New re-org has created a horrible working environment at Shared Services. They want robots, not employee's.

      Pros

      Great benefits: pension, 401k matching, low healthcare cost for family. Up to date technology and smart people to work with. Collaboration station for meetings is a great resource.

      Cons

      Work environment at Sutter Shared Services (S3) is too rigid. Most employees are non-exempt and requires punching a time clock! No more cubicles or privacy. Environment can be distracting to work in. Management's focus is all about meeting SLAs or metrics not about the employee growth or job satisfaction. Very limited PTO (sick, holiday, and pto combined.)
