      Pros

      Some flexibility in scheduling can chose to do 7 on 7 off, or 5 on/2 days off, etc. Professional staff. Opportunity to do procedures (intubation, central line placements etc) if desired.

      Cons

      No vacation time. Impossible to take any sick days, since nobody else to cover your shifts. Have to do night shifts, since hospital has a difficult time finding nocturnists.

      Pros

      Very nice working environment and co workers. Well paid and reasonable work schedule. Great benefits . Great protection and continuing education opportunity to the stuff.

      Cons

      Not a lot of overtime . Non union hospital. Rental housing price around the area is ridiculous high based on the income in the town

      Hard to move up if you dont know the right people. You can be the best in the field but if you're not friends with leadership, forget about getting ahead.
