Pros

The overall objectives of the organization are very important. A number of staff are highly committed to these objectives.

Cons

I worked in the corporate office for 4 months after working for more than 10 years doing similar work for a competitor. Although I was well paid, that was about the only major aspect of the job that was accurately (and honestly) described. The work site was changed causing an additional two hours of commute each day. The job was essentially a "dumping ground" of repetitive copy-and-paste routines requiring on average more then 30 hours per week. To those considering leaving a job to work here, be very careful: They did a nice job of making the grass look a lot greener that it really was.

Not the employer of choice anymore.

Pros

The only pro that I can think of is that there are some amazing people that are employed at Sutter Health that are very dedicated.

Cons

Sutter Health is just like any other low grade 3rd world business. They continue to take from their loyal employees. Currently relocating which means a further drive for a lot of the employees. Discontinuing longevity bonuses, raising the cost of medical benefits and reducing yearly raise percentage by a whole percent. So for example if you are doing your job up to their standard you would only get a 2% raise, this isn't even a cost of living raise. Sutter used to pride themselves as the Employer of Choice. Can't say that I would label them as that anymore.

Horrible workplace

Pros

Parking. I think the pay is fair.

Cons

Toxic workplace. Management unable to control unprofessional conduct from staff. HR nightmare. Back biting nurses and techs making the department fail. Take note of the employees quitting, terminated or transferred.
