      Pros

      Health insurance was part of the benefit package, which was a plus. Dental coverage was not great even with the best package. Retirement they matched 500.00 .

      Cons

      Leadership extremely poor. Favoritism. Poor equal treatment of employees . This Dept does not follow their own policies. They keep their employees in the dark about hospital practices. This place will burn you out and make you crazy. They don't educate they torcher they lie. No growth, they use you abuse you and throw you away.RUN! No balance! The culture is oppressive.

      Horrible place to work

      Pros

      It was close to my apartment and I was able to walk to work. Which came in handy since they charge employees $20 a day for parking.

      Cons

      Pathetic wages, unsafe nurse:patient ratios, the worst management I have EVER seen, always short staffed and an abundance of inexperienced nurses texting on their cell phones all day while ignoring patients and alarms. The worst employee morale I have seen in an over 20 year career. The doctors treat the nurses like idiots.
