Pros

The pros are our medical benefits as long as you stay in network, they are very good. Sutter makes money regularly.

Cons

The cons are the wages, the communication from Leadership, they keep reorganizing and forgetting that jobs still need to be done. They lay off over 400 employees just to start a hiring frenzy but to out of state workers or at a much lower wage which is already too low, ans non competitive against other health care companies. Leaders do not answer emails, do not respond to questions, do not know the answers to questions and spend so much time in meetings talking about more meetings or sit silent cause they don’t know the answers it’s ridiculous. Leaders only become leaders not because they have good leadership skills, communication skills but because they are the most mediocre employees who have just stayed the longest. There is not upward career motion unless you want to move to Utah and take a pay cut. Top executives make an exorbitant amount of money for a not for profit medical Company.

Pros

Sutter Health did offer fair salary and benefits

Cons

Senior leaders were constantly manipulating the numbers, laying off anyone who refused to kiss the ring, in order to protect their bonuses. Don't forget, VPs and Sr VPs make about 3-5x their salary in pure bonuses. So, yeah, the have a lot of staff to layoff to protect their bonuses. Also - despite the rhetoric for "inclusion" it was often a good old boys club - or good old girls club. And to heck with everyone else.
