Pros

Benefits only. That's it. Nothing else. This review is making me write 20 words. I can't think of anything other than benefits.

Cons

Oppressive envirorment. Top heavy in management. Lousy salary for RNs that are not at the bedside (transplant coordinators, case managers, quality). They don't believe in flexible scheduling or working from home (but ok for managers). Too focused on profit. Don't value nurses. No room to advance. I can go on and on. Don't come to work here. I've been here for 15 years and since Sutter took over its gone downhill.

Pros

There have been several quality staff members I have met, who subsequently left, that were some of the best in the industry! Sadly, due to the reasons outlined below, staff retention of quality individuals, is an issue.

Cons

Terrible leadership, unqualified staff that don't pull their own weight and despite management acknowledging the issues, nothing is done and these sub-par staff members are allowed to retain employment without retribution. Leadership is not credible.

Awful Management

Pros

There's nothing good to say about this company.

Cons

The management here is awful. They don't discuss issues with you to improve yourself then when review time comes, they write you up. There are no team players in this company and the workload is incredible. The management style took a turn for the worse when Mr. Wirth came to take over as CEO.

Thanks for your perspective. We are sorry that SPS was not a match for you. Just a note of clarification – Chuck Wirth has been our one and only CEO since 1999.
