      Pros

      I like what I am hired to do. Decent benefits, but nothing compared to tech companies in SF.

      Cons

      As in Title: Never before have I witnessed such self-important management. Must agree with above poster. Not the least transparent; difficult to consider them "Team Too many ESL pharmacists, and lab managers. Makes communicating important info very difficult: pt suffers.

      Pros

      The only pro I can think of is the benefits.

      Cons

      Management and leadership fail to manage their departments. New re-org has created a horrible working environment at Shared Services. They want robots, not employee's.

      Pros

      Excellent compensation plan (nuts to bolts). Competitive wages. Innovate and proactive in competetive market.

      Cons

      There are cons every where you go. Whiners, complainers, etc. You just have to avoid them and not get drawn into their negativity. MOST management I have encountered have a passion for what they do and do it well. Not the case for all, but definitely some. Seems like poor leaders aren't corrected... just ignored or moved around.
