Pros

Pay is somewhat competitive. Insurance premiums are low.

Cons

Too many reorganizations. Major problems with C suite and Leadership knowing how to lead. Clinical leaders can't agree on anything. Ever changing, and inefficient processes. No interest in retention of knowledgeable long term employees. Retirement package pales compared to other healthcare organizations in the area.

Pros

If you're an individual contributor, it's really hard to get fired. They have fired most of the IT senior management, which is a sign of hope.

Cons

No leadership, no vision, reactive management, lots of bureaucracy with little to show for it, hard to get real work done. No chance for advancement, at all. Expect to work split shifts all the time so as not to run up overtime, but attend all kinds of useless meetings, and get your work done.

They pay and the work/life balance at Financial Business Services is competitive

Cons

It is a hostile work environment. HR and senior management do nothing to stop the harassment. It is a culture based on stabbing people in the back to try and protect yourself from the wrath of the management. Unfortunately, the corruption starts with the director of the department and goes all the way up to the CFO. Public humiliation is common as well as inappropriate behavior.
