Pros

My co-workers were good people trying to work in a culture filled with management that was demeaning, oppressive and hostile. Sutter does pay well however it is not worth working in a horrible environment.

Cons

My only good experience at CPMC was the day I gave notice and my last day. Senior management was filled with infighting and they promoted intimidation and humiliation. Senior management was clueless about how employees felt about their work environment and there was little communication. The communication that did filter down was not trusted because it was never accurate.

Pros

The insurance is great... and being a patient at a sutter facility was top notch. pay is comparable to start

Cons

Expect productivity to come before patient care. Managers are unprofessional, many employees donate hrs to reach productivity because employees are threatened with termination if productivity is not reached. lunches and breaks are rarely taken by field clinicians. dont value long term employees

Pros

Good benefit package, located in the beautiful city of San Francisco, good healthcare providers, good co-workers. Shuttle service provided for travel throughout San Francisco.

Cons

Chaotic. Very poor leadership. Poorly thought through strategies for IT implementation that in the end impacts the providers and patients. Extremely competitive workplace- very little collaboration. Rigid rules. No room for creativity or out of the box thinking.
