Pros

There are many talented people that work for this organization. Sutter offers great medical benefits with an incredible network of Primary Care Physicians

Cons

Office politics are out of control. Many in leadership positions are passive aggressive, often offensive and disrespectful. Stress leave is common place, often leading in termination of employment Many openings but hard to get hired from within...high focus on degrees with a disregard to work experience.

Pros

The Pro is more for the Nursing profession itself. As we all know there are pros and cons as with any profession, however as a Nurse we have a vast range of opportunities. The one thing we do need to consider is Not just working for the PRESENT but for the FUTURE!

Cons

Average Pension plan for a RN vested 20 years is 65,000 to 100,000 USD. Pension is what Sutter (Employer) funds on your behalf. A 403B Plan is what you 100% fund your self ( Sutter Health does not match). My advice; invest on your own and work on-call for this company if you want to stay with them. And work for another company that gives you a better retirement. As we all know it doesn't get easier as we age.
