Bad direct management

Pros

Great benefits and a wonderful company to work for, with plenty of opportunities for internal transfers.

Cons

Lower salary comparing to Kaiser or Stanford. Lab management quality varies depending on location. Unfortunately, mine was not very good. A lot of favoritism and nepotism. Coworkers frequently disappeared during shifts, and during peak patient hours some would hide or pretend to be busy with other tasks to avoid drawing patients. Despite speaking up multiple times, nothing changed. In the last month before I transferred, direct management began showing signs of unfairness and retaliation.

Pros

Competitive pay in relation to Bay Area hospitals.

Cons

High turnover for management and employees. Remaining staff depicts toxic behaviors that thrives due to non-existent management, lack of accountability, and coworkers enabling harassment and verbal misconduct for personal entertainment. Employees feel undervalued and the culture is marked by poor communication, distrust, and constant stress, which leads to disengagement and burnout.

Pros

Remote Forever, Provides equipment, Easy to understand

Cons

Allows patients to disrespect the reps, Doctors, and other staff can be rude to you but you can't stand up for yourself. Some supervisors are bad and are very micromanage, Raises are hard to get, no performance bonuses but they want you to always be on top of the charts, Surveys are heavily reviewed, and even if you got a good score if there was 1 thing you didn't do your manager or lead will email you to discredit the service you provided.
