      Pros

      Excellent teamwork by RNs, great pay and patient to RN ratios.

      Cons

      Mid-administration (esp. Nurse Managers) are not very helpful or supportive. They tend to be biased (for & against) some employees. Not much opportunity to advance your career. Hospital is small town so if you're looking for the latest in technology, expertise, and opportunities for career advancement look to the bigger cities.

      Pros

      Great benefits (compared to where I worked before); very organized as a structure; great mission and vision as a company; the dapartment I am working at allows flexibility of scheduling; it pays to have seniority in the unit

      Cons

      Getting your full hours is a struggle, lots of travellers ( and they get the hours and regular staff gets cancelled first, starting with less seniority); unit orientation is very unstructured; great mission and vision but sometimes it doesn't translate to bedside.
