Pros

This is by far the best place I have ever worked! The job is not hard but is challenging enough so you don't get bored. Inbound calls, the workload is never too much to handle. This is not a typical "call center" because there is tons of support if you need it and they don't micro manage. The leadership at SPS are all AMAZING! They truly care about the people who work there and they care about your success. The environment is pretty laid back while getting things done. It's a positive environment and if you are lucky enough to land a job here then hold on to it. I have never worked somewhere that cares so much about the employees. Upper management has an open door policy, if you need to talk about anything any supervisor is more than happy to help. The operations manager is the same, if you need to talk or have an idea or concerns she is always happy to sit with you and talk about it. I had to go for personal reasons, but I hope that one day I am lucky enough to be able to work there again when the time is right.

Cons

The only thing is that one location has an awesome facility, but the other location needs some kind of little cafeteria or something. There was a little workout room put in so that is new and pretty awesome. Other than that, nothing negative to say.

Thank you for your very detailed review! We are happy to know that your time at SPS was so positive and that you felt like the work environment was “not a typical call center.” We continually focus on supporting efforts that make SPS a Great Place to Work and don’t take that for granted. Your comment about Murray needing a cafeteria is noted and will be escalated to our senior leaders for review and further consideration. Regarding your advice for offering more shifts for new hires – the reason why the shifts are limited is because we try to offer the more “ideal shifts” to our internal employees first – to give them first preference. Once those shifts have been offered internally, we then open up the remaining to external candidates. It’s one of the perks for already being hired and a way to say that we value your service and commitment to SPS. Lastly, since we are a 24/7 operation, there are multiple departments that employees are eligible to migrate to post the initial new hire period. Thanks again for taking the time to provide us feedback and hope that you are doing well in your current endeavor. Sincerely, Carla Alegado
