Pros

Happy with compensation and benefits Generally staff in other departments have been kind and respectful Great workplace safety and cleanliness Work load is managable, thanks to the Union

Cons

Staffing is short handed, frequent call outs Difficult to get vacation approvals, again due to staffing Stopped the use of paid contractors to suppliment staffing shortage, reason was budgets Toxic work culture lead by toxic supervisor with a manager that is allowing that to happen and persist Lack of psychological safety, respect and trust Lack of transparency Micromanagement, finding faults and setting people up to fail Hands off mangement Unequal workoad, and favoritism Nepotism and unfair hiring practices, all recent new hires are supervisors' friends, family of friends, or family Lack of teamwork and collaboration People are at each other throats and all management does is tell us to, "please work together", which is not a solution Top down bullying behavior and harrassment goes unchecked
